Easy Like Sunday Morning

This picture was taken yesterday afternoon. It was a warm day, but it was windy. You can see the tree has lost a lot of leaves. After the sun went to bed, it was very rainy. Wind and rain knock the leaves off the trees fast. Here is a picture of the tree taken this morning. It's lost a lot of leafs.Sorry Sara & Killian, and Debra & Abby, you will not be the winners of the Last Leaf Contest.

Mom's got a cutie-patootie wonky house featuring cats over on her quilting blog. It will be going into NewBean's quilt. You cats should check it out, you might see someone familiar...

and that's all I am going to say!

Our wind is whipping up too, and the clouds are coming. Oh well, at least we have had one lot of sunshines.

Sweet dreams Miss M.

Here in Chicago we've had so much wind and rain (4.5") in the past week that many of our trees lost most of their leaves in just 2 days. The big maple tree across the street from us lost 2/3 of its leaves this week. Most of our color is on the ground now.

We had a really windy day yesterday and most all of the leaves are on the ground and off of the trees. Snuggle up and stay warm little one.
