Tuxie Tuesday

Mom was pretty tired last night, so we sat together in the recliner. She is reading a book by Henry James, and she thinks the guy uses way too many words. I don't know what that means, but she keeps reading.
Here's the trees outside yesterday morning. It's supposed to be colder, windier and rainy today. Rain and wind blow the leaves off the trees, so we have to enjoy each day's color as it happens.

The trees are really pretty. We don't get fall colors here. Mom has been saying she is going to read a book for the last two weeks, but she has been trying (unsuccessfully) to fight off a cold, and has spent her home time with us on the couch instead.

Beautiful tree pic. Mom agrees about Henry James ~ she calls him "wordy".

I'm really pleased for your Mom that you've become a pusscat that enjoys sitting with her on the recliner reading - that's got to be one of the best experiences of living with a cat. I hope you purr very loudly, do you, so she knows how much you're enjoying it?

True, must enjoy it while we see it. You look so pretty sitting in that chair. I hope you'll keep mommy comfy today by sitting with her and keeping her warm.cindy

Henry James DID use too many words...my mom thinks he was fond of the sound of his own voice...

What's wrong with that?

Yowza! STILL incredibly jealous of those trees, Millie! Ours are still totally green with nary a blown leaf anywhere. Sigh. When's fall gonna get here?

Those are very nice trees - ours are finally starting to change! I don't know why it took so long.

It sounds like you and your mom got to get in some nice relaxation!
