Doll Quilt Swap

Remember - WAY BACK in June, I told you that Mom joined a Doll Quilt Swap group?

Well, her quilt arrived today, and she loves it.It was made by Savida, from New York City. You can see the little quilt's progress here, at Savida's flickr photostream.

Mom is totally in love with this quilt. She loves the tiny (1/2") squares at the corners of each block. She loves the different backgrounds, the way the hexagons look, and the lovely red-orange border. She hung it up in the dining room, where she can look at it every day when she eats.

Mom is a happy camper, which is a nice thing to be on Friday.

That is a beautiful quilt. We like the contrast of the dark and bright.

Millie - That doll quilt would be so nice for a cute little kitty to sleep on!!! We love it. Crazy Lady loves doll quilts, too. Too bad she doesn't quilt!!!

Wow! Savida's quilt is almost as beautiful as the ones that your momma makes, Millie!
