Sunny Sewing Sunday

Mom made five blocks for the HAM Meezer Benefit Quilt yesterday. She says they are prettier in real life.

(you can click the pictures to biggify)

Next she will be getting together with Auntie and they'll start turning these blocks into a quilt. Mom and Auntie have decided to extend the HAM Meezer Quilt Raffle another week so cats and their beans, and everybody else can have a chance to see the finished quilt.

Go on over to Derby's, as he is showing off his new Gizzy Quilt. He won the Churchill Raffle.

And lookit this... this was our street yesterday in the snowstorm. Concord NH has had over 108" of snow this year. The record is 122" and that's one record I do not want to break.

We are sorry that you gots more snow. Mom says that the picture looked like here a few days ago. No song birdies, no daffodils, no sign of Spring here either.

Keep warm!

Brrrrr. Jan said she doesn't miss snow at all! It does snow here occasionally but we seldom have any accumulation.

The quilt blocks are pretty. Can't wait to see the quilt.

Love the quilt! Just love it! Mommy refused to look at the photo with the snow. She just wants to think happy thoughts!

I just love how very colorful the big quilt is going to be. More snow? Tell it to go rain in Georgia instead. They need it.

Yeeks! I was not alive then but Mom told me about one year when they lived in New Yuck. They had a total of 196 inches of snow that winter! They are glad they do not have to deal with that any more.
