Finally Friday

As you can all see, the snow is still here, so Tybalt and Camie have lost the When When Contest. Sorry, guys!Tomorrow is Mimmay and Pippay's 21st wedding anniversary. The family is getting together for a family dinner. Mom has been asked to make the dessert, but Mimmay had one request. "Nothing with chocolate."

Mom went... "aaahhhh.... ummmm... uhhh..."

Mimmay said, "You'll come up with something great. You always do."

So Mom has been pulling cookbooks off the shelf, flipping through the pages, putting the book back, and trying another.

Oh, you think this is No Big Deal? Here is a picture of the bookcase in the table room:It is -only- for cookbooks. You can click the picture to biggify, and see what Mom's cookbook collection looks like.

And yes, Mom did find the perfect recipe for dessert. But I'm keeping that a secret! Ha ha ha!

(PS: Did you see over at Parker's that I won the contest for naming their new lions? Mom and I saw them and we immediately thought of those magicians who work with Lions, Sigfried & Roy, so that's what we suggested. I won the prize! I am so excited. There is a package on its way to me from Oh-Hi-O with presents!)

Wow Lynne, thems a lot of cookbooks. I am gonna guess you is going to make a lime pie? Or an apple tart? Am I close? Pavlova is our favourite.

Have a nice dinner and you girls enjoy a sleep in in the morning.

Well done on winning Parkers contest in naming the lions. Good job.

Congratulations on winning the contest, Millie! Those were great names.

Your mom sure has a lot of cookbooks. Our mom says that there are lots of yummy fruit desserts, so maybe your mom is making something fruity!

Congratulations on winning the contest. Mom doesn't have that many cookbooks, but it is a close second. She reads them like novels.

Tiki, Tavi, Cody and Camie

PS - we knew Camie wouldn't win when you showed the picture at the start of the week. Good luck to everyone.
